Management

Management comprises the interlocking functions of formulating policy and organising, planning and directing KEIFCA s resources to achieve the policy's objectives.

Management identifies the needs, requirements and possible infrastructure for future sustainable management for each stock and habitat. The review of appropriate management options for species and habitats helps inform the byelaw review process and helps identify the steps and process needed to develop long term non-regulatory or regulatory solutions. Management also encompasses the running and organisation of the Authority as a whole, how it works and communicates with partners and com-munities. (Defra Success criteria 1,2,4 and 7)
